Lego Boy makes his comeback with a new album Signals from a Neon Heart. It resembles a journey through the electronic waves of synth pop and synth wave, where melancholy teams up with rhythm and nostalgia becomes a beacon in the dark.
Through nine tracks - others more upbeat others more downtempo, Lego Boy creates an audible world full of analogue synths, dreamy melodies and vocals that balance between romantic pop and dark retro electronica.
For the creation of this album there were a lot of collaborations with amazing musicians such as Jennie Nega, Green Was Greener, One of Vas, 7t2names, Todo and Ren Water. Each one of them contributed with their unique style and colour to the the tracks.
The production itself moves elegantly through the pureness of pop echos and the lo-fi aesthetic of the synths, bringing forward a sound which can be at the same time modern and deeply emotional. From disco pulses to the loneliness of space journey, Signals from a Neon Heart is a soundtrack for those who love to dance with their eyes shut!
