Its been a while since label boss Angelos Stoumpos aka Timewarp has made an appearance on Kraak Records.. so with no further delay we are happy to announce his new single - Back!

Timewarp is known for his love of combining music styles in his own unique production way. With Back you will travel from Africa to Mediterranean and from there to the deep orient, all set on a happy yet moody, groovy deep and organic electro with a fusion twist.

Back is a two track ep full of summer vibes and beach moods. Timewarp must have been on a very holiday spirit while composing both tracks, as they are full uplifting, energetic and setting the mood for a dancing evening!

First track is Backafro which is a folksy organic house afro beat! One of Timewarp's favourite instrument, the Oud, sets the vibe for this track. Amazing back afro vocals with the combination of a kalimba kind of give a samanic vibe that has the setting of an African beach! The second track Tropitech is energetic with an eastern-oriental folk spice. The hang-drum dominates the feeling and sets the mood while Oud appears again with the combination of deep electronica sounds. Special thanks goes to Beatride for the orchestral strings & score-section.
